Want to pass on your love of travel to the next generation? Our small-group Family Adventures are all about fun, combining must-see sights with once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Travel means different things to different people. The older I get, the smaller, more intentional my own travel becomes. It’s not about luxury or resorts or scale. It’s the opposite of a bucket list. It’s the moments with family that now matter the most.
We understand families
Having travelled extensively with our own children, we also consider ourselves experts in family holidays. We know where to look for engaging activities that go beyond the predictable; we know to incorporate freedom of choice, knock-out swimming pools and great food options. And we appreciate that with less familiar destinations, it's best to have most of the hard stuff already arranged such as hotels, main meals, accommodation and sightseeing, all with the understanding that good value for money is important.
Stress free travel
Travelling in a small, informal group makes it really easy for any family, large or small, to fit in and quickly make friends. Single parent families and families with only one child find the small group format works well. Extended families are welcome too and we often have grandparents, uncles and aunts joining the holiday.

Our approach

We use a mix of homestays, characterful lodges and locally-owned hotels. Wherever possible, we make sure you have at least two nights and preferably three in each place, so you won’t feel like you’re constantly on the move, unpacking and repacking. Swimming pools are one of the most important features for our families, and we always try to find family-friendly accommodation with pools. Some of the accommodation options include safari tents with outdoor showers, houseboats or thatched huts. And whether you all want to stay together in one room, or prefer your own space, we’ll work to accommodate your needs – most of our group trips offer a combination of triple and single room options.
